API – Application Programming Interface – a set of programming standards and technical integration between systems, designed to enable Participants to receive the amount from sales made, as well as control the payment solution’s functionalities.

IUGU ARRANGEMENT – the set of rules and procedures governing the provision of payment services for the acquisition of goods and services, in accordance with applicable legislation.

BOLETO – the payment method generated by iugu.

IUGU BILLING – offering a solution for managing online invoicing and receivables.

PREPAID PAYMENT ACCOUNT – an account for recording transactions, upon prior deposit of funds, for the use of payment services and execution of payment transactions.

MERCHANTS – individuals or legal entities, suppliers of goods, products, or services, accredited to accept Payment Instruments.

PAYMENT INSTRUMENT – a physical or virtual object that enables its Participants, through identification and security procedures, to carry out Payment Transactions for the acquisition of goods and services.

LEADS/strong> – Term used in Digital Marketing referring to a potential customer who has, or may have, an interest in consuming a particular product or service.

IUGU MARKETPLACE – Solution for managing automated online payment infrastructure.

BUSINESS PARTNERS – Type of Participant in the iugu Arrangement that acts as sub-acquirers.

PARTICIPANTS – includes Merchants, Business Partners, etc.

SUB-ACCOUNT – a payment account linked to a Business Partner’s prepaid payment account.

PAYMENT TRANSACTION – the use of a Payment Instrument in a purchase event, balance inquiry, withdrawal, or purchase cancellation.

PAYER USERS – individuals or legal entities that purchase or contract goods, products, or services from Merchants.
